Salon
Carrele
with
original
tiles,
this
room
is
a
superb
location
for
reading
on
a
warm

Salon
Carrele
also

which
buffets
are
usually
placed

dining

the
east
terrace
of
the
house.
Two
grand
salons
both
of
which
open
out
on
to
the
east
terrace
are
accessed
through
the
Salon
Carrele.
The
terrace
is
an
ideal
place
to
relax
and
enjoy
views
over
the
woods
and
rolling
hills
surrounding
the
property
as
well
as
to
dine
on
balmy
summer
evenings.
The
salons
are
comfortably
furnished
with
a
mixture
of
new
and
antique
furniture
including
a
grand
piano.
Walking
through
the
entry
hall
to
the
north
side
of
the
house
you
will
find
a
family
room
complete
with
satellite
TV,
DVD
player,
stereo,
internet
access,
numerous
board
games
(monopoly,
chess,
backgammon,
Cluedo,
etc.)
and
toys
for
children.
Bedrooms:
On
the
first
floor
are
five
luxurious
bedrooms,
all
with
ensuite
bathrooms,
that
have
been
finished
to
the
highest
standard.
The
bedrooms
all
have
antique
armoires
and
chest
of
drawers;
some
from
the
original
period
of
the
house.
Each
bedroom
has
comfy
chairs
and
writing
tables.
The
'blue',
'yellow',
and
'Chinoise'
rooms
are
equipped
with
king
(European)/Queen
(American)
size
beds.
The
first
floor
landing
has
a
cosy
space
for
reading,
writing
or
relaxing
furnished
with
a
sofa
and
desk.
Each
of
the
bedrooms
and
bathrooms
have
lovely
views
over
different
aspects
of
the
Park.
The
Kitchens:
the
farmhouse
kitchen
is
very
spacious
with
antique
floor
tiles
&
fitted
hand
made
oak-paneled
units.
Fully
equipped
to
include:
dishwasher,
large
American
style
fridge/freezer/ice
maker,
microwave
oven,
gas
range,
electric
oven,
toaster,
coffee
maker.
A
variety
of
cooking
aids,
with
saucepans,
pans,
plates,
glasses
&
cutlery
and
other
utensils
are
included
to
provide
a
large
party
with
everything
they
could
require.
Facing
a
massive
stone
fireplace,
there
is
a
table
in
the
middle
(seats
12),
but
in
the
summer
months,
we
find
that
our
Guests
like
to
eat
outside
and
BBQ
on
the
south
facing
area
overlooking
the
park.
The
fully
equipped
gourmet
kitchen
makes
cooking
a
pleasure!
The
local
Perigord
markets
provide
a
wealth
and
choice
of
fresh
fare
that
makes
shopping
and
cooking
a
pleasure
not
a
chore.
The
laundry
room
in
back
of
the
kitchen
has
a
sink,
washing
and
drying
machines
two
ironing
boards,
a
clothes
line
is
provided.
Highchairs
are
available
and
we
provide
a
sterilizer
for
baby's
bottles.
Overlooking
the
pool,
and
perfectly
positioned
for
enjoying
al
fresco
meals
on
the
pool
terrace,
is
a
second
ground
floor
summer
kitchen
equipped
with
gas
cooker,
fridge,
microwave
oven,
dishwasher
etc.
The
Dining
Room:
to
the
left
of
the
entrance
hall
is
the
formal
paneled
dining
room
with
seating
for
fourteen
and
a
magnificent
fireplace.
The
dining
room
caters
for
large
parties
and
includes
tablecloths
and
tea
towels
etc.
External
facilities:
Within
the
magnificent
grounds
at
Bardouly
there
are
three
outside
eating
areas:
one
in
front
of
the
kitchen
which
benefits
from
sun
the
entire
day,
the
second
on
the
east
terrace
shaded
by
several
mature
lime
trees
and
is
ideal
for
afternoon
tea
and
buffet
suppers,
the
third
is
situated
at
the
pool
-
adjacent
to
the
guest
house
kitchen
it
is
convenient
for
luncheons,
and
late
dinners.
To
the
back
of
the
pool
the
rock
garden
with
its
pleasantly
gurgling
fountain
is
a
bastion
of
tranquility.
The
Guest
House:
'Le Pigeonnier' has
a
spectacular
living
room
with
a
high
beamed
ceiling
and
French
windows
leading
out
to
the
terrace
and
the
heated
pool.
This
spacious
room
has
comfortable
seating
to
include
a
double
sofa
bed.
The
dining
area
is
incorporated
in
the
living
room
and
leads

the
kitchen.
The
kitchen
is
fully
equipped
with
all
modern

The
two
beautifully
designed
ensuite
bedrooms

orchards,

almost

which
is

adjoining
