Les Cerisiers: It has taken two years to lovingly restore the Les Cerisiers from a ruin. Set in a tiny hamlet surrounded by rolling hills, the views are truly stunning. The house offers an open and airy atmosphere and is flooded with light. There are wood floors throughout the spacious living rooms. It is superbly equipped with a newly fitted dining kitchen and two luxury bathrooms. All care has been taken with the furnishings to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The area is very restful and quiet although there is plenty to do and see not far away by car. The gite Les Cerisiers sits atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Dordogne valley. It has a large garden with a heated swimming pool. This roomy and light filled house has been sympathetically restored with original features but with all the benefit of mod cons.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 double and one twin. Another bed can be added if needed. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a multi jet shower, WC and vanity unit with washbasin. The other bathroom is furnished with bath and hand shower, WC and washbasin. Large fully fitted dining kitchen with hob, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, french doors to garden. Large sitting room with wood floors and french doors to front. There is an attached double garage.

Across the way is another smaller gite, Le Petit Maison suitable for 4 people with all mod cons. Lovely views with a fantastic terrace for sunbathing and dining. Le Petit Maison: This beautifully restored cottage is full of character and ideal for a 'get away from it all holiday.' The house is furnished with comfort in mind and ease of living with a touch of luxury. Le Bouix is a very quiet hamlet and has lovely views and a tranquil atmosphere. There are plenty of activities available if you feel so inclined not far away by car and wonderful eating experiences at the many restaurants in the area. Golf is available at Brive. There are lots of historical places to visit and walking and cycling is a joy here.

Le Petit Maison has two double bedrooms, large fully fitted dining kitchen with hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Large living room, bedroom 2 and the bathroom to this house are on the ground floor. The bathroom has a multi jet shower, bath, wc and vanity unit with hand basin. Upstairs a door leads to a spacious outside terrace for open air dining and sunbathing. Fabulous views from the upstairs. There is a garden at the back of the cottage and parking space. A perfect location for a chilling out holiday for four.

The gites can be rented together as they are located on opposite sides of a small quiet road. The hamlet of Le Bouix is set in the Dordogne valley with the riverside town of Beaulieu sur Dordogne minutes away with its colourful market, quality restaurants and water leisure activities. There are many historical towns and villages in the near vicinity to visit and Brive a major town is 30 mins away. Famous Baynac is an hour away with the medieval castle that was featured in the film Joan of Arc. Argentat is also set on the river, not far away and is also blessed with good restaurants. Lots to do and explore.
