There
is a shaded gazebo beside the main house with comfortable seating
and subtle lighting for the evenings. Within the grounds there
is a 18 hole crazy golf course, a table tennis area and enough
lawn and garden area to play ball games safely. It is within
comfortable walking distance of Souilllac town centre (10-15
min.) The main supermarket is 3 mins walk where you will also
find an open air fruit and veg market and a local cheese artisan.
The Dordogne river is a 3-5 min walk and offers activities such
as canoeing, kayaking, equestrianism, tennis, football, rugby
and very peaceful and picturesque river walks. Souillac boasts
a great weekly market, a water park for all the family and a
country club for the golfer as well as many shops, bars and
restaurants. The magnificent Souillac golf course is set in
a scenic countryside in the Lot and has an excellent restaurant.
The famous historic town of Sarlat is approx. 20 mins drive
and is a must visit with it's narrow streets and historic sites.
