Pattes et Griffes (Paws & Claws) are based in the small hamlet of Georges, which is situated 2kms from Montagrier on the Riberac/Perigueux Road. The kennels are English owned and run by James and Jane Hatton.

At Pattes et Griffes, we offer a personal service, looking after your dog or cat as though it were our own. We understand that pets can fret when faced with a change of environment therefore human contact together with lots of love and affection are high on our list of priorities. We believe that by taking particular attention to the needs of each dog or cat, we are seeking to make their stay as pleasant as possible. Pets are taken for a walk along our country lanes, 3 times a day, first thing in the morning, at noon and late evening.

There are 18 individual units, each having its own outside run by means of a hatchway. Then sleeping areas are contained within the main building which is heated during the winter. In addition, each sleeping unit has infra red heating which can be switched on if the weather is cold. During the daytime, the hatchway is open to allow freedom of movement in and out. At night it is closed to keep our guest both warm and secure in the sleeping area. During daytime there is access to a large fully fenced exercise area which allows each dog to run and lay whilst their unit is cleaned. Pets are excercised 3 times daily. Different types of food are available, allowing the pets to remain on their usual diet.

Our feline clients, who are housed inside a restored outbuilding within our orchard at the rear of the house, are offered an off the ground sleeping platform with a cosy covered cat bed as well as room alongside to lounge upon. Litter trays are supplied and changed regularly. Boarders can also take advantage of our outdoor 'sun lounge' where they can play or snooze.

Prices:

Dogs - Single 12,50 euros per day, two sharing 21 euros per day

Cats - Single 9 euros per day, 2 sharing 15 euros per day

ALL BOARDERS MUST be identified either by microchip or tattoo and have up to date vaccination certificates, which must be produced on their first visit and thereafter on request.

The hamlet of Georges is situated 2km through Montagrier on the right of the D103 Grand Brassac Road. Both the hamlet and the kennels are signposted.

Montagrier is 3kms north of Tocane St Apre which is on the Riberac/Perigueux Road.
