Guest
House
The
self contained guest house on three floors, has steps leading
up to front door entering onto first floor: large, (approx.40m²)
living room, the furniture in this room includes a 3 seater
sofa bed. The bathroom with w.c. is on this floor, stairs leading
up to a twin bedded mezzanine bedroom and stairs leading down
to ground floor; 19 m² kitchen/diner , master bedroom with
double bed and single bed and ensuite shower-room/w.c. The ground
floor kitchen/diner looks onto paved terrace with covered eating
area. This terrace interconnects to the Main House south-facing
terrace and also gives access through a garden door to a parking
area. There is outside terrace lighting. The Guest House is
a conversion of the barn adjoining the Main House. The first
and second floor are created out of a high slate roof mansard
to retain a wealth of exposed original oak beams with optimum
use of windows to give a spacious romantic living area overlooked
by the mezzanine bedroom. The ground floor kitchen/diner has
original oak beams and original stone wall with a glazed open
aspect to the terrace. In addition to a satellite TV in the
Main House there is a DVD player in the Guest House. The Guest
House is only let jointly with the Main House. There are ceiling
fans in the living room and the kitchen/breakfast room. Because
the Guest House is laid to three floors with open tread staircases
and a mezzanine bedroom this unit is not suitable for very young
mobile children or for people who find stairs difficult. There
is a washing machine but no dishwasher in the Guest House. position
