The large open plan living room is full of traditional character with quality decor and furnishings, from the pictures and tapestry to the magnificent chateau stone fireplace. Master bedroom en suite, two double bedrooms - one has double bed + single bed, single bedroom ,bathroom with separate shower and wc,well equipped modern fitted kitchen. landscaped gardens, terrace, BBQ and private pool.

Approached via it's own private drive and gated entrance there is ample private parking, grounds and gardens surround the house with panoramic views over the town below. There is a private terrace, pool side terrace and private pool. Here you can relax and unwind in comfortable surroundings. Lay your table and enjoy a meal prepared in a well equipped modern fitted kitchen. The lounge leads out through French doors to the landscaped gardens, terrace and private pool.

There is a superb master bedroom suite with hand made carved king sized bed, television, dressing room and curved stairs leading majestically to double stained glass doors and beyond to the huge en suite bathroom, wc. There is further double bedroom and triple bedroom which both have fine views over the town of Sarlat. The Egyptian themed Luxor Room has a double bed and the Tower bedroom a double and single bed, there is a fourth single bedroom .

THE LOCATION

From the country house it is just a short walk down the hill into the centre of Sarlat with it's many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Everything is nearby so you can leave the car behind with no cares about driving, parking or having a drink with dinner.

Situated between the rivers Dordogne and Verere, Sarlat is a medieval market town and capital of the Perigord Noir. Stroll along the paved lanes of the old town or sample the Perigordian gastronomy, amongst the finest France has to offer. Take in the hustle and bustle, the smells and noise of the market, sit at one of the cafes and watch the world go by.

THE AREA

Sarlat has something for everyone and is a perfect base from which to set off and explore the sites and surrounding countryside. Steeped in history and pre-history, counting the world famous site of Lascaux within easy reach. From the dawn of time man has left his mark in what must surely be described as one of the most beautiful parts of France. From cave dwellings to fairy tale castles the views and scenery are breath taking.
