Although the cottages can be rented individually the two houses together are ideal for a family group of 6/7, Granny & Grandpa can have their own space!! These cottages created from 160-year-old farm buildings have been carefully renovated to retain their simple, traditional country character. They offer a comfortable relaxed base from which to tour the Dordogne or the Correze. Situated in open countryside yet only 3 km from the Chateau town of Hautefort this holiday location benefits from tranquil rural charm with quick access to all amenities. Le Bosquet is a pretty, detached cottage, and La Bergerie is an independent part of the English owner's home. Each has its own garden and outside terrace area offering privacy, as well as lovely country views. The communal garden with swimming pool, catches the sun throughout the day, and enjoys uninterrupted views of the valley and wooded hills beyond.

Le Bosquet:

Small entrance hall. Living room with open fireplace. Kitchen/dining room. Stairs to landing. Double bedroom with additional single bed. Small twin bedroom. Shower room/wc. Terrace, garden, shared pool (10m x 5m, 1.4m deep, with Roman steps) washing machine, TV, parking, pool and garden furniture, barbecue. All linen for hire.

La Bergerie:

Hautefort has several excellent restaurants and the Chateau and topiary gardens are truly magical. This area of the Dordogne is on the border of the Périgord noir and the Périgord vert and is characterised by sleepy villages, rolling hills, beautiful valleys, leafy glades and forests. Within reach of the Dordogne Valley but also close to the famous prehistoric sites of the Vézere Valley, when you have had enough of relaxing around the pool there is much to see and do.

House bed linen & house towels are 12 euros P.P. per change. Pool towels are not provided.

The pool is fully fenced with a secure gate, and a pool alarm, to comply with french law.

Pets are not allowed.
A security deposit of 200 euros in cash is payable on arrival, this is refundable on departure all being well. On booking a 25% non refundable deposit is required. Balance of payment is due before arrival. Arrival should be after 4pm and the property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Changeover days are Saturday.
