A house of charm and character with chestnut floors and views over the town and wooded hills. 1st floor: spacious light sitting room, open plan kitchen. 2nd floor: two bedrooms, one double, one single with extra bed if needed. Bathroom and w.c., single sofa bed in the sitting room. The Balcony overlooks the historic Place Des Oies. Pets accepted. Sleeps 2 to 4.

A south-facing sandstone town nestled in the wooded hills flanking the Dordogne valley, Saint Cyprien is a town of art and history in the heart of the Perigourdian golden triangle. The beautiful Dordogne river is a 20 minute walk. The area is renowned for prehistoric sites such as the caves of Lascaux and National Museum of Prehistory in the nearby village of Les Eyzies. Only a 5 min drive from the 'Valley of the Five Chateaux' which includes the well-known chateaux of Beynac, Marquessac and Milandes. The area is excellent for walking (there is a network of marked paths that start at St. Cyprien), cycling and canoeing.

Perfect for an authentic French village experience with shops and restaurants within 50 metres, including bakery, butcher, newsagent, florist, and a very lively market of local produce on Sunday and with an abundance of stunning landscape and places to visit within a 30 km radius. Golf within 30 mins drive. Daily markets in the nearby villages all year round, and evening markets and local events in the summer season, a good selection of bars and restaurants in the area, serving mainly the renowned traditional Perigourdine gourmet cuisine, including foie gras, duck, and truffle and walnut specialities..
